Amin Jospeh’s Filmography

Posted by:Erin Waters Posted on:Sep 27,2016

Amin Joseph was born in 1980 in New York City. In the historic and artistic neighborhood of Harlem, Amin became involved with the Apollo Theater, where he discovered his calling and passion at a young age. His internship with the theater would send him on his life’s journey to secure his dream career – acting. At age 24, Amin began receiving roles; his first was in a BET film called Rage and Discipline which followed the story of violence, hardship, and brotherhood in Harlem. Since his initial screen debut, Amin was worked with some of the greats in the film industry, including Sylvester Stallone and Frank Darabont, an award-winning writing and director whose credits include hit television shows, The Walking Dead and The Shield, as well as classic films, such as Shawshank Redemption. Teaming up with some of the biggest names in the cinematic world, Amin has quickly asserted himself as an actor to be taken seriously. His talent is obvious as well; his filmography showcases an ability to play not only compelling, but a variety of, characters. Amin has told sources that, while grateful for his success, he hasn’t reached his ultimate goal, yet, which is to produce films and television shows that promote African American actors and characters as lead roles.
